The Barceló Bávaro Beach – Adults Only hotel has a new and large swimming pool to cool off in and a hot tub area to enjoy. Guests can also enjoy the fabulous swimming pools at the Barceló Bávaro Palace hotel, one only for adults and the other a semi-Olympic pool.

The swimming pool area has all types of amusement options for relaxation such as relaxing pool beds, water jets, and much more.

This spectacular resort is located at one of the 10 best beaches in the world and features natural surroundings – the lush tropical forest, white sand and crystal clear waters, perfect for enjoying a fantastic day sunbathing or experiencing all kinds of water sports.

Casino Bavaro

The best casino destination to play in the Caribbean and it is open 24 hours.

Have a great time playing a wide range of games including American roulette, blackjack, Caribbean poker and Texas Hold’em, not to mention the 150 slot machines with the latest games. Guests can organize a game of Texas Hold’em with friends by contacting the casino staff. The casino is located on the Barceló Bávaro Palace grounds. You must be at least 18 years old to enter. Smoking is not allowed in the casino. Dress code: shorts, sandals or vests are not permitted.

Bávaro Nightclub

Without a doubt, this is the best way to make your vacation even more fun. Have a fantastic night out with great music. This is one of the best clubs for over 18s in Bávaro. Opening hours: 11:00 pm to 3:00 am (11 pm – 3 am). Located in the Barceló Bávaro Palace. Smoking is not permitted in the club. Dress code: Shorts, sandals and vests are not permitted. Access to the VIP lounge at an additional charge, except for Premium Level guests.

Theater

Guests at Barceló Bávaro Beach – Adults Only hotel can be the stars of the night, enjoying great stage performances by the professional animation team at the new Teatro Beach. You will also have the option to enjoy the most spectacular theater in the Caribbean, at the Grand Teatro Bávaro (in the Barceló Bávaro Palace). It islavishly decorated in Las Vegas style, with room for up to 1,400 guests. It also features 2 entertainment levels, a bar on both levels and waiters so you don’t miss any part of the fabulous show. The excellent dramatization of the dancers and live music by an outstanding orchestra will make this vacation an unforgettable experience. A different and unique show every night.

Bávaro Express train – Guests may travel comfortably and free of charge throughout the Barceló Bávaro Palace complex on our train. Service is scheduled every 20 minutes from 8 am to 4 am.

Church – The “Virgen de San Salvador” chapel, located near the peaceful lake and impressive golf course, holds Catholic services on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays at 6:00 (09:00 to 18:00 hours). Guests may attend religious services.

Heliport – Spacious heliport with 3 landing and takeoff areas, each with 3,983 sq ft of surface area and appropriate security measures. Exclusive to guests of the resort.

Prior to landing and takeoff, the property manager must be notified and a copy of the permit must be submitted. Use of the heliport may be subject to an additional cost. Please contact the Management for more information.

The Lakes Golf Course, by P.B. Dye

Golf stirs up emotions, and it’s no surprise that it has become more popular. Playing golf on your vacation is not just relaxing, but is also healthy.

You can play golf in sprawling expanses of beautiful, well-maintained, natural landscapes, where you can enjoy special moments while trying out your swing and aiming for a hole-in-one.

The golf course was redesigned and remodeled by well-known architect P.B. Dye, who oversaw the entire process. The course was opened in December 2010 for both hotel guests and the general public.

The golf course crosses a leafy mangrove forest, with 25 inland lakes and 122 strategically-placed sand traps. The course makes the most of the natural surroundings of Bávaro, and the fairways are surrounded by native plants and species.

U-Spa

Located in the Barceló Bávaro Palace hotel, with spectacular views of the ocean, the spa offers a space that is unique in all of the Dominican Republic.

A new concept in wellness, health and beauty where everything has been thought out for the guest to benefit from maximum comfort while enjoying a range of treatments. This state-of-the-art health and wellness center has an open-air pool with water-based therapies, cosmetic treatments, relaxation, therapeutic and sports massages, leisure, hydrotherapy, thermal pools, sauna and steam baths, Vichy baths, hot tubs with hot and cold water, private cabins with hot tubs, and a terrace with sun loungers or chair loungers.

In addition, it offers a full range of beauty salon services and a fantastic gym with the most advanced equipment for cardiovascular training, as well as resistance machines.

The U-Spa offers personalized treatments in a sophisticated and relaxing environment. The soft candle light, the subtle relaxing music with the wonderful sounds of nature, and the sweet aroma of incense and essences, will create the ideal ambience for the perfect treatment.

Fitness Center

Spectacular fitness center with the most advanced training equipment for warming up, cardiovascular exercises, cooling down, stretching and resistance machines. You will find treadmills, exercise bikes and weights, and 2 state-of-the-art rooms for spinning and yoga. The spa reception also provides a timetable for scheduled classes.

This modern fitness studio is located within the U-Spa facilities at Bávaro.

Those over the age of 14 may use the U-Spa provided they comply with dress and conduct requirements. The classes planned vary according to Bávaro U-Spa’s schedule.
